Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Laura Joyce. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Perform laundry and linen duties, including washing, drying, and folding.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Stock linen closets and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including vacuuming and polishing floors.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and dependability.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Language: English

Work Term: Permanent

Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
