We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Plessis Veterinary Hospital.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to our patients, including diagnosing diseases, treating injuries, and advising clients on animal care and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in animals through physical examinations and laboratory tests
  • Prescribe medication, set bones, and perform surgery as needed
  • Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases
  • Advise clients on animal care, behavior, and hygiene
  • Perform routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations
  • Provide a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia
Requirements
  • Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
