About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Denture Specialist to join our team at Richmond Denture Clinic. As a Denture Specialist, you will be responsible for taking measurements to determine the size and shape of dentures, making impressions and moulds of teeth, gums, and jaws, and constructing dentures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take measurements to determine the size and shape of dentures
  • Make impressions and moulds of teeth, gums, and jaws
  • Construct dentures
  • Fit, adjust, and repair dentures
  • Perform denture whitening and cleaning
  • Prepare partial dentures
  • Re-line and re-base dentures
  • Fabricate mouth protectors, anti-snoring prostheses, and removable prostheses on implants
  • Write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for use by denturists and dental technicians
  • Take dental impressions
  • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
  • Polish and buff dentures
  • Mould wax over dentures set-up
  • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
  • Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts
  • Examine the patient
