Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Delivery Manager to lead a technical team in providing project implementation services and pre-sales support to clients across North America. This position is open to applicants in Canada and the US and will consider qualified candidates working in a virtual, home office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technical professionals in providing project implementation services and pre-sales support to clients.
- Work closely with all levels of the organization to provide efficient and effective services throughout North America.
- Manage resource planning, including the management, coordination, and scheduling of all projects, assigning teams to projects or clients as required.
- Collaborate with the VP Sales and Account Managers to provide support for pre-sales and post-sales activities, including custom demos, benchmarks, trade shows, product seminars, and user group presentations.
- Develop project plans and negotiate contracts related to professional services according to the existing bid management process.
- Monitor project status and oversee project status reporting and expenses/timesheet approvals.
- Track, monitor, and forecast services revenue for the east region.
Requirements
- Bachelor or graduate degree in Engineering, Geomatics, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing technical teams within a small to medium-sized organization or division of a larger organization.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
- Project Management experience for large to medium-scale projects.
- Direct employment or consulting experience in at least one of the following markets: GIS, Transportation, Utilities, Public Safety, Military, or Communications.
- High level of energy and commitment to the team focused on successfully meeting objectives/targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the capability to take initiative.
Nice to Have
- Professional services revenue generation experience.
- Experience with Hexagon products, solutions, and systems.
- PMP designation.
