About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at D.C. United Roofing Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Organization
    • Develop and implement project schedules and milestones
    • Coordinate with trade subcontractors and suppliers
    • Prepare and submit project budget estimates
  • Team Management
    • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
    • Develop and implement quality control programs
    • Establish and maintain effective communication with team members
  • Contract Management
    • Prepare and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
    • Monitor and manage project expenses
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Develop and implement quality control programs
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
    • Identify and address any quality control issues
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular project reports to management
    • Analyze project data to identify trends and areas for improvement
    • Develop and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Skills
    • Strong project management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Proficient in CADD and other computer software systems
