Compassion Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Philanthropic Engagement to join their team. This key role plays a crucial part in driving the organization's growth and impact by developing, deepening, and diversifying strategic individual partnerships for largescale outcomes serving children, families, and communities around the world.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to expand Compassion Canada's donor base
- Cultivate relationships with major donors and foundations to secure significant funding
- Forge partnerships with local churches to support child development programs
- Collaborate with the Compassion Canada team to achieve organizational goals and objectives
- Post-secondary education and/or professional designation in fundraising or a related field
- Proven experience in fundraising, donor engagement, and partnership development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Fluency in English language
