About the Position

We are currently looking for a Merchandising Specialist to work independently at 3 retail locations for around 10 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, and have an eye for detail.

About You

You will be responsible for performing merchandising tasks at three retail stores, maintaining sections, addressing out of stock issues, and creating a good relationship with the store manager. If you have experience as a merchandiser in a supermarket, this is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Performing merchandising tasks at three retail stores
  • Maintaining sections, including restocking and ensuring dead plants are removed
  • Addressing any out of stock issues
  • Cleaning our sections, including dusting display fixtures
  • Watering plants and flowers
  • Submitting daily visit reports
  • Visiting the store twice a week
  • Creating and maintaining a good relationship with the store manager
  • Removing dead leaves and blooms
  • Removing unsalable product
  • Taking photos of the display

Qualifications and Requirements

You must have a smartphone and access to the internet. Ability to lift up to 25lbs is also required. Previous merchandising experience is an asset but not a requirement.
