Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Casual Combined Lab/X-Ray Technologist to contribute to our Radiology team at Invermere District Hospital.


This role involves working rotating shifts, including Days and Evenings, with varying start and end times.

This position includes on-call hours.

Key Responsibilities

We provide a range of laboratory, x-ray, and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards.

Performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and troubleshoots equipment problems as required. This role also involves performing ECGs and applying Holter Monitors.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take additional courses to work in CT.

Requirements
Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program.

Eligibility for registration with a provincial licensing body.

One year of general experience in laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
