Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Invermere, B.C.
About the Role
The successful candidate will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. This includes performing routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and troubleshooting equipment problems as required.
Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies and standards
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot problems as required
• Work on call hours after 19:00 on weekdays and 18:30 on weekends
• Apply and download Holter Monitor applications
Requirements
• Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program
• Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body
• One year of general experience in both laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
