Job Title: Heavy Duty Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team at Barrie Truck & Trailer Repair Tire Center. This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to have extensive knowledge and experience in fabricating metal parts and products.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment operation, as well as metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • They must be able to accurately examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. You will also maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., metal fabrication, mechanical engineering).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include paid time off, medical and dental insurance, and a comprehensive pension plan.
