Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bakery Team Member to join our team at Thrifty Foods. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing special order requests, and maintaining a clean and organized bakery department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with friendly and professional service, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Prepare special order requests, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assemble and maintain self-serve cases, ensuring a visually appealing and inviting display.
  • Manage supply inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge in customer service, sales, and bakery operations.
  • Assist in other department functions, supporting the overall success of the store.
  • Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Partial High school education or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three months of experience in a retail or bakery environment.
