The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at the Oshawa Distribution Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising shift activities, training employees, and ensuring customer service targets are met.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Train and develop employees to improve performance and productivity
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including customer service, inventory management, and safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- 3-5 years of experience in operations, warehouse management, or a related field
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain principles
- Ability to work in a unionized environment and maintain positive relationships with employees and management
