Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Sierra Lane Construction Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Estimating: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, as well as hire and supervise activities of subcontractors.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Contract Management: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring high-quality construction outcomes.
  • Communication: Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings, and plan and manage budgets to ensure effective project execution.
  • Risk Management: Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure project success.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports to stakeholders, highlighting project progress, challenges, and successes.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in construction project management.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
