Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Abdul Qadir Jillani Services I. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tabulate Total Payment: Accurately calculate and record total payments for goods or services.
  • Receive Payment: Process payments from customers and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Calculate Daily/Shift Payments: Reconcile daily or shift payments received with total sales.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and well-stocked environment for customers.
  • Greet Customers: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for customers.
  • Wrap or Place Merchandise in Bags: Ensure customer purchases are properly packaged and prepared for take-away.
  • Weigh Produce and Bulk Foods: Accurately weigh and package produce and bulk foods for customers.
  • Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify Customer Age: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
