Job Summary

The Salesforce and React Native Developer will be responsible for leading the development of our mobile application, including needs analysis, stakeholder meetings, coding, testing, and deployment. This role will involve working on both the Salesforce and React Native components of the application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from a developmental and business perspective, assessing needs and suggesting solutions based on best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Perform routine programming tasks according to project requirements, programming procedures, and data processing needs.
  • Review application design, processing activities, objects, workflows, and validation rule design to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and test program coding prior to implementation to ensure the application is ready for production operation.
  • Correct coding errors uncovered during testing and document all changes made.
  • Coordinate with users and other programmers to determine application goals and required modifications.
  • Collaborate with the user community to resolve specific problems and make changes to applications.
  • Monitor deployed applications to ensure maximum intended performance.
  • Delete unnecessary code scripts from company systems and applications as necessary.
  • Conduct research on forthcoming programming trends, tools, languages, and standards.
  • Schedule and perform regular improvements, patches, fixes, and other upgrades or maintenance.
  • Work with network administrators, analysts, and engineers to resolve problems with applications and software systems.
  • Administer the overall Salesforce implementation, including report and dashboard creation, object creation, user management, and VisualForce and Apex development.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience developing in React Native.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
  • Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience working on the SFDC platform, with a strong understanding of Apex, Lightning, VisualForce, Flows, and Lightning Web components.
  • Project Management (PMP) certification is an asset.
  • Competency with REST and SOAP-based web services.
  • Experience working with integrated applications such as Docusign, Mailchimp, Conga, Slack, and CRM analytics.
  • Experience with FinancialForce/Certinia is an asset.
  • Familiarity with developing on other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
  • Direct work experience with application programming languages, such as Java, .NET, Visual Basic 6, HTML, C++, J2EE, etc.
  • Programming experience with enterprise-level applications.
  • Ability to write concise and accurate technical instructions throughout program development.
  • Ability to troubleshoot programming changes, errors, and subsequent modifications, working collaboratively with external resources as needed.
  • Experience with computer flow charts and reporting methods.
  • Able to stay up-to-date with current and future technological developments or trends in Salesforce Development, actively participating in the Salesforce Community.
  • Able to interpret the operational requirements of end users, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated to make proactive changes.
  • Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback from superiors.
  • Effective deadline management and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of service level agreements and customer service standards.
