Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Top Aces is a leading provider of aerospace and defense services, and we are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Identify and order parts, and perform required computer entries and functions.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a crew, to ensure aircraft airworthiness and safety.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards, and maintain personal records.
  • Ensure issues that could jeopardize production or airworthiness are raised in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Transport Canada Accepted Aircraft Maintenance Training course or an Accredited Course.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a crew.
  • Experience on a commercial or military aircraft is an asset.
  • Able to work on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge.
  • Able to problem solve and troubleshoot.
  • Able to communicate in English and French.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs.
  • Working in confined spaces.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and shift work according to flight operations.
  • Will be required to work outdoors.
  • Travel is required for the position.
  • International travel may also be required in this role.
Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities:

Employees are responsible for working in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety acts and regulations, following safe work practices and procedures, and using safeguards and personal protective equipment.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Position requires Level 2 Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
