Job Title: Greenhouse Worker Crew Chief

Driftwood Greenhouse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Greenhouse Worker Crew Chief to join our team. As a key member of our greenhouse operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our greenhouse team, ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our greenhouse team, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Plant Production: Oversee the transplanting, pruning, and maintenance of plants, ensuring that they are healthy and thriving.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order, including irrigation systems, climate controls, and other essential systems.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our plants meet the highest standards of quality and appearance.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of greenhouse operations are running smoothly.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in greenhouse operations or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
