Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the development of engineering plans and projects.
- Engineering Planning and Design: Oversee the development of engineering plans and designs for subdivisions and other developments, ensuring compliance with municipal regulations and standards.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures related to engineering and development.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including developers, contractors, and community members, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Education: Completion of a University degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of municipal-related engineering experience at a supervisory level or higher, in the field of transportation/traffic operations and design.
- Licenses and Certifications: Registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGBC and a valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence.
