Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at AZ Diesel Truck Repair Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting our tradespersons and apprentices with various tasks related to heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices with moving tools, equipment, and materials
  • Help with cleaning machines and work areas
  • Handle, recover, and store refrigerants
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team
  • Will train
