Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications and is safe for operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and performing other necessary maintenance work.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance or repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
