Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, collect relevant data, and develop effective care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to promote person-centered care, dignity, and respect.
- Participate in care conferences, councils, and committees to advance nursing practice and improve patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, evidence-based practices, and clinical guidelines to provide best-in-class care.
- Document patient information accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with Fraser Health Authority's policies and procedures.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and professional development.
