Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst II to join our team at Waste Management Canada. As a key member of our pricing team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex financial, statistical, and competitor price data to recommend price changes that improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain pricing infrastructures to ensure accurate and efficient pricing processes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and modify pricing structures as needed to optimize revenue.
  • Recommend and implement monthly price increases, coordinating with Sales and Billing for successful implementation.
  • Analyze moderately complex financial, statistical, and strategic information to maintain pricing tools and ensure data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and analyze reports on customer and route profitability to inform pricing decisions.
  • Audit billing and services to monitor customer changes and set ups, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
  • Provide reporting and documentation of pricing structures and serve as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal sales departments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis, pricing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
