About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Hawthorne Village Dental Care. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Housekeeping: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • General Maintenance: Wash windows, walls and ceilings.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, judgement, and honesty.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Setting: Health care institution, facility or clinic.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
