Hydraulic Technician Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our team at Coulson Group of Companies. As a Hydraulic Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and modifying aircraft to aviation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and modify aircraft hydraulic systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to complete tasks.
  • Perform high-pressure tube assembly and fabrication, including flaring and swaging.
  • Install and service high-pressure hydraulic installations.
  • Read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Have a general understanding of math, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Have experience with aircraft structures and maintenance.
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep accurate records.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to travel.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in the industry preferred.
  • Approved aviation course preferred.
  • AME (S) rated preferred, with pay scale based on experience.
  • Experience not required, but a clean driving abstract is necessary.
  • Approved training course completed preferred (ICS also accepted).
  • Ability to interpret manuals, drawings, and technical data.
  • Good hand skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Reliable and punctual.
