Carpet Cleaning and Janitorial Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Carpet Cleaning and Janitorial Assistant to join our team at A-1 Choice Carpet Cleaning and Janitorial Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and maintenance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
