Job Summary:As a Network Architect at ADGA Group Consultants Inc, you will play a key role in designing and implementing network systems that meet the company's objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop detailed network architecture and design proposals.
Key Responsibilities:- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, assessing operational needs, security considerations, and scalability requirements.
- Network Design: Develop detailed network architecture and design proposals that align with project objectives, including determining network topology, hardware and software components, protocols, and security measures.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network designs and provide regular updates and reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, technical SMEs, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the project.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry trends and technological advancements in networking and recommend improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Proof of STEM bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as network, software, computer, systems, electrical, or a suitable engineering or technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in one of the assessment area's criteria.
- Analyzing, designing, and implementing network system architectures.
- Communications engineering and network systems security, including cryptographic key management.
- Network engineering for real-time systems, distributed systems, embedded systems, or mission-critical systems environments.
- Network system integration, including hardware and software components.
- Network architecture directly related to implementation practices, such as layer 2 nomenclature, routing protocol selection, security protocols, and deployment models.
- Analyzing, designing, integrating, testing, and implementing communications networks.
- Life-cycle management of network systems.
- Employing computer modeling and simulation tools for network and wireless communications performance studies or protocol development.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a System Architect on Military Command and Control Communication and Information systems or ISTAR systems.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology/Information Management or engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in each of at least three of the assessment area's criteria.
- Willingness and ability to travel to other NATO countries for work.
