Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver - Over the Road

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Yale Road Transport Ltd. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, often across multiple provinces or states. You will be part of a two-person team or convoy, and your duties will include loading and unloading goods, performing brake adjustments, and conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, often across multiple provinces or states.
  • Load and unload goods at various locations.
  • Perform brake adjustments and conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Willingness to travel overnight.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
