Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Medical exam
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, often away from home for extended periods. You must be able to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
