We are seeking a Production Labourer to join our team at Calgary Italian Bakery Ltd. as a key member of our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our food manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of awareness and adherence to food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure the quality of our products.
- Material Handling: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials as required to support the production process.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to prevent downtime and ensure a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products and packaging for basic quality defects and report any issues to the production team.
- Team Support: Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties and provide support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the production process.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Willing to train and learn the skills required for the role.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Language: English.
- Relocation: Relocation costs covered by employer.
