About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Curriculum Developer to join our team at Sheridan College. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality course materials for our Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship course.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop course materials that align with learning outcomes and best practices
  • Collaborate with faculty members and instructional designers to craft engaging and effective learning experiences
  • Ensure that course curricula are current, relevant, and reflective of best practices within the relevant professional/program disciplines
  • Define, evaluate, and validate learning outcomes for the course
  • Develop strategies and tools for facilitating and assessing student learning
  • Develop multi-media materials and alternative delivery strategies
  • Attend periodic faculty meetings
Requirements
  • A master's degree in business or a related field (PhD preferred)
  • Three to five years of relevant practical and professional expertise in designing and developing course content
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in D2L, technology, software, and multimedia tools
