About the Role

The BC Public Service is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager for Metadata to join our Digital Analytic Reporting Technologies (DART) Team. As a key member of the Metaspace product team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality metadata management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of metadata management solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define product roadmaps, and prioritize features.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of metadata management solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to ensure effective metadata management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform metadata management strategies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on metadata management.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Ministry of Health data.
  • Experience designing and implementing metadata management solutions.
