Food Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Store Manager to join our team at For Good Measure. As a Food Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales and operations staff to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficient and effective sales and customer service.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet sales and customer service goals.
- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure effective use of resources.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold and implement pricing and credit policies.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems and customer complaints.
- Stock shelves and display areas to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
- Sell products on a retail basis and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain adequate stock levels and balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Order stock and manage inventory levels.
- 5-10 years of experience in retail sales and operations.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
