**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Roofing Expert to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs using various materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in the roofing trade and possess excellent physical capabilities, including handling heavy loads and working at heights. You will also be required to instruct apprentices and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
• Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
• Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions
• Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
• Instruct apprentices
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools

Experience and Specialization:

We are looking for candidates with experience in conventional and inverted built-up systems, modified roofing systems, and single-ply sheet membrane roofing systems.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires working in a physically demanding environment with fast-paced conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical capabilities, including handling heavy loads, working at heights, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
