Pre-Construction Lead (Technology) Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Construction Lead (Technology) to join our Technology Pre-Construction Team at Plan Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the pursuit and design development processes for technology scopes on large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the overall pursuit and design development activities related to technology scopes on assigned projects.
  • Facilitate and lead user group meetings and design workshops with clients, contractors, and sub-consultants to design and develop technology solutions that meet contractual obligations.
  • Review and interpret tendered technical specifications, including system performance specifications, drawings, and room data sheets.
  • Manage a team of technical engineers and estimators to complete the overall estimating process and develop competitive technical design and project cost estimates.
  • Responsible for risk management for all technology systems during pursuit and design development stages.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to gather information, clarify specifications, and present to clients and partners.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of technology consulting and/or technology/IMIT construction industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a construction-related field.
  • Working knowledge of various technology systems and communications infrastructure.
  • Experience and knowledge of building operating systems and smart building technologies.
