Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Whisper Creek Cabin Rental. As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Co-ordinate the inspection of assigned areas to ensure that all rooms and public areas meet our high standards.
  • Supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Co-ordinate contract services to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that all staff are meeting their performance targets.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that we have everything we need to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out at all times.
  • Respond to complaints of guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Large workload and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be expected to be flexible and adaptable.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
