About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our team at Dow Chemical. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reducing downtime.

As a Facilities Management Specialist, you will develop and implement Predictive Preventive Maintenance (PPM) strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce costs. You will also manage equipment Bill of Material (BOM)-parts lists and ensure that scheduled services are entered into the Maintenance Management System (MMS).

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing PPM strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • Managing and maintaining equipment BOM-parts lists
  • Ensuring scheduled services are entered into the MMS based on equipment reliability strategy or reviews of new equipment
  • Performing quality control checks on all PPM creations, equipment technical data, and Maintenance Repair and Operating (MRO) creations
  • Serving as a technical resource during procedure creation and review, as needed
  • Administering master data as needed
