Job Description

As an Intermediate II Data Scientist at Global Relay, you will be building artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions for our customers. Our solutions are developed by small, focused agile teams of data scientists and developers.

You will apply a wide variety of models to very large electronic communication archives in order to classify and understand communication content. You'll have the opportunity to work in machine translation, transcription, natural language processing, LLMs (large language models), and/or generative AI.

This role involves tackling interesting and engaging problems related to scalability and high availability in big data environments. You will collaborate with other data scientists and developers in building and deploying various machine learning models.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3-5 years of experience with solving machine learning problems
  • BSc in a STEM or Linguistics subject or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with very large data sets in an enterprise-wide application environment
  • Experience with Python and Bash programming languages
  • Experience with common machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, Sklearn, TensorFlow, TensorRT, and others
