Production Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Labourer to join our team at Sophia's Garden (Artisan) Inc. in a permanent position. As a Production Labourer, you will be responsible for transporting raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials, as well as measuring and dumping ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines. You will also be responsible for feeding flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, removing filled containers from conveyors, and manually packing goods into bags and boxes or other containers. Additionally, you will be responsible for feeding and unloading processing machines, checking products and packaging for basic quality defects, and cleaning machines and immediate work areas. You will also be required to read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions, monitor safety conditions, and follow-up on issues with work orders.

Work Environment

Our work site environment is hot and cold/refrigerated. You will be working in a bakery and food production setting, where relocation costs are not covered by the employer.

Requirements

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this job include repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will also be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
