We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team based in Port Colborne, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire project life cycle from scope determination through timely project closure on assigned projects.
This role aids the project managers and engineers with electrical controls and instrumentation design of their assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities- Management of construction and capital from concept to project closure.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership in control system engineering, design, implementation, programming, configuration, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting in support of manufacturing industrial control systems along with all associated control system devices, computers, communications, networks, endpoint devices, and instrumentation.
- Specification of equipment control systems and process function for new equipment.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, controls engineering, or related field required.
- 5+ years of experience with electrical, controls, and instrumentation design of machines, utilities, and facilities in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
- Must possess the ability to apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs.
- Must be able to conduct research to produce design solutions and improvements.
