Job Title: Production Painter

We are seeking a skilled Production Painter to join our team at SCT WELDING LASER & MANUFACTURING CO.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for painting and coating various products, including aircraft, motor vehicles, construction materials, and ornamental ironwork. The ideal candidate will have experience with surface preparation methods, such as abrasive disc wheels, chemical techniques, and masking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare work areas for painting and coating
  • Apply paint and coatings to products using airless gravity pumps, electrostatic methods, and hand-held spray guns
  • Check and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate application of coatings
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in painting and coating
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks
