Physiotherapist II

Job Summary

Northern Health Authority is seeking a Physiotherapist II to join our Rehabilitation Services department. The successful candidate will provide physiotherapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription, and education of patients and their caregivers. The Physiotherapist will work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, promoting functional independence and enabling patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes in inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physiotherapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription, and education of patients and their caregivers.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, promoting functional independence and enabling patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes in inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings.
• Contribute to the organization and the overall goals of the profession, department, participate in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education.
• Provide work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team.

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• One year of recent related experience.
• Valid BC Driver's license where required.
