Overview

Arcadis, the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets, seeks a Technical Project Manager to join its Global Architecture & Urbanism Division. As an integral member of our diverse network of design professionals, you will oversee the technical elements of project scheduling, budgeting, troubleshooting, and risk management for underground and tunneling projects.

Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will coordinate and oversee the design phase of underground station projects from concept to completion, working closely with architects, engineers, and other design consultants to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet project requirements and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of design deliverables.
  • Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and other technical documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal teams, external stakeholders, and project partners to resolve design issues, address feedback, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, status updates, and other project documentation to senior management, clients, and stakeholders as required.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and challenges during the design phase and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities to enhance project outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in technical coordination or technical project management within the Architecture and/or Engineering sectors.
  • Knowledge of P3 (Public-Private Partnership) projects and transit-related projects is required.
  • Design experience in underground transit projects is required.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex technical projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in technical project management tools such as Primavera, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam, and platforms like FTP, Project Wise, SharePoint, and ISO.
