About This Opportunity

Black & McDonald Limited's Intelligent Transportation Systems team is seeking an experienced and driven professional to join their team as a Senior Project Coordinator. If you are passionate about project management and have a strong background in unionized construction, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual to oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned projects within established timelines and budgets
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring they align with company policies and client expectations
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing regular project updates and progress reports
  • Scheduling and Time Management: Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the unionized construction industry
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Project
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $115,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and paid time off.
