Agriville is seeking a skilled Agricultural Assistant to join our team in a Greenhouse Crop Care Specialist role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and productivity of our crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the greenhouse environment to prevent the spread of disease and pests.
  • Monitor and report any signs of insect or disease damage to the crops.
  • Apply fertilizers and other necessary treatments to promote healthy crop growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens as needed.
  • Assist with hand harvesting vegetables and other crops.
  • Perform other tasks as required to ensure the success of our agricultural operations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
