Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Yacov Wazana. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking, as well as light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Support clients with mobility issues, such as walking and transferring.
  • Administer medication and provide first aid when necessary.
  • Engage in activities that promote social interaction and companionship, such as conversation and hobbies.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

Our Home Support Workers work in a variety of settings, including private homes and community centers. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care and support to our clients.
