We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Training Day Cafe Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and supervise the assembly of trays.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Permanent employment with 37.5 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and will be required to maintain efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and teamwork.
