We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join our Financial Reporting & Insights team at BDO Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement
- Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes
- Prepare corporate and/or personal tax returns including information returns
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
- Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
- Completed undergraduate degree or diploma in accounting and the necessary pre-requisites
- Proven leadership skills and ability to take initiative
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
