The Catholic Social Services Family Intervention Program provides support services to strengthen the efforts and abilities of families to provide a safe and nurturing environment for their children. As a Child and Family Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in this program by providing high-quality supports to children and families, including teaching parenting and communication skills and supporting and transporting children to family visitations.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong relationship-building skills, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and have a commitment to providing excellent client-centered care. You will also need to have a valid First Aid/CPR certification and a Vulnerable Sector Check from local RCMP or city police detachment.

We are looking for an individual with a Diploma/Degree in Human Services (or equivalent) and at least 6 months' experience working with children and families. Experience working with children with developmental disabilities is considered an asset, as is knowledge of addictions and mental health issues. In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $22.51 to $25.34 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
