Critical Care Nurse Specialist

In this critical role, you will provide exceptional psychiatric and emergency nursing services for patients in the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Working closely with the Manager Health Services, Mental Health, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver independent nursing services to patients with complex health needs.
- Administer prescribed medical treatments according to established protocols.
- Lead the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
Requirements:
- Recent experience in psychiatric and/or emergency nursing is essential.
- This position requires working in high-pressure environments, including the Emergency Mental Health pod and Inpatient Mental Health units.
Education and Certification:
- A degree in nursing and registration with CRNM are mandatory.
- Active participation in professional associations, such as ARNM, is highly valued.
Salary: Estimated salary range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
