Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the housekeeping department and ensuring that our hotel's high standards of cleanliness and customer service are maintained.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the housekeeping department, including supervising staff and coordinating activities
* Establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department
* Select and purchase equipment and supplies
* Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
* Coordinate inspection of assigned areas
* Supervise staff and ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
* Maintain financial records and prepare budgets and payrolls
* Coordinate maintenance and repair services
* Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals
* Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms
* Supervise in-house laundry services
* Coordinate in-house laundry services
* Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff
* Coordinate dry cleaning and valet services
* Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out
* Hire and dismiss staff
* Respond to complaints of guests

Requirements:

* 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
* College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in Hospitality Administration/Management
* First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
